Has anyone tried using Reporting Services in conjunction with an Availability Group yet?By that I mean adding the the ReportServer and ReportServerTempDB database to an Availability Group. This is the only article that I can find on the subject:-http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh882437.aspxBeing a Microsoft article, this would suggest that this configuration is supported. However the article itself is extremely sparse in detail and has no specifics as to how to achieve this.In order to add the SSRS databases to an AG, the ReportServerTempDB must be altered to utilise Full Recovery. However MS’s recommendation is for it to run in Simple Recovery. That aside, the databases can be added to the AG, and the SSRS service seems happy being configured with an Availability Group Listener name as opposed to a SQL Server instance name.I’ve configured the URL of the Report Server as the AG Listener name as opposed to a SQL Server instance name. This seems to work.I’d be most grateful for the benefit of the experience of anyone who has actually implemented this configuration successfully.
