Automatically formatting columns e.g. dates

HiI typically use datetime as the datatype for dates in my datawarehouseAs a result, every time I use a date on a report, the date and time appearsIdeally, I want dd/MM/yy to be used every time [b]without[/b] having to go into the format propertyIs this possible?I suppose, taking this a step further, is it possible to have a default format for anythingIt would also be useful for numbers as I use currency, no decimal places and comma thousands in pretty much 80% of my reportsThanksDamian.
