Can I update part of an SSRS rendered Report and update the database without server round trip?

I would "like" to have an SSRS Report where - I display a "Status" in a table (multiline).- through some hyperlink, I request a small database change (to update the status) via a hidden window or subreport)- change the displayed "Status"BUT I would like to avoid refreshing the entire report... (a bit like a "cheap ajax" call)Is this feasible? :crazy:At the moment, I think I could fire one status update at a time by re-requesting the report with an additional parameter or two but this would refresh the entire report, which would not look good...
